On the Water
Picton is great for getting out on the water and doing a bit of boating. There is great fishing, some beautiful swimming spots, as well as cruises on the Marlborough Sounds.
Tramping and Hiking
With sensational views over the Marlborough Sounds, native forest and a range of track lengths, Picton has plenty of hikes and walks to keep your feet busy. The Essons Valley track has glowworms that can be seen at night.

Golf
The Rarangi Golf Club, which snuggles between the surf of Cloudy Bay and bush clad hills dominated by Mount Robertson, offers a challenge for all grades of golfers. You can move to the rhythm of the surf on the beach, watch the tui and fantails, admire the bush covered backdrop, and play golf all at the same time, all year round.
